Notes for this weeks GCR Carnival

This week there is NO COMPETITION at Casey Fields due to the GCR Track and Field Carnival.

We would like to wish ALL athletes competing this weekend, the best of luck!!

PLEASE NOTE TRAINING TONIGHT WILL BE FOR GCR U9+ ATHLETES ONLY!
The uniform shop WILL be open to make sure you have the full uniform – INCLUDING COLES BADGE!!

Week 11 – Saturday 19th February

Our next competition at Casey Fields will be on Saturday 19th February and will be COLES COMMUNITY ROUND!

Coles Community Round is a celebration of the Coles Little Athletics partnership at Little Athletics Centres across Australia.

Little athletes, volunteers and families can compete and volunteer wearing a splash of Coles Red to embrace the Coles theme. There will be prizes on the day for the best-dressed athletes and volunteers. See the video below for some inspiration on how to dress up!

2022 Cranbourne Little Athletics Championship and Personal Best Day

This year our annual Championship and Personal Best Day will be held on Saturday 26th February.
ATHLETES MUST REGISTER TO BE ABLE TO COMPETE ON THIS DAY
This is a day where athletes can choose which events they want to do and compete for medals on the day.
Medals are awarded for finishing in the top three, but also if athletes can achieve a number of personal bests on the day.

2022/23 Committee Nominations

Committee nomination forms for next season are now open. If you would like to nominate for a role for next season, please see club secretary, Jo, for a nomination form.

– Cross Country Team Manager
– Special Events & Fundraising
– Assistant Coaches (Especially to assist with Juniors)

LAVic Open Days

There are a few Little Athletics Centres/Clubs holding open days in the next few weeks. These are a great chance to get out and compete against other athletes and make some more friends. When at Open Days, be sure to keep your eye out for other Cranbourne Families and support each other.

Training is still happening each and every Tuesday and Thursday night! Please pay attention to TeamApp and Social media for announcements on training such as special training events etc…
