2026 Cranbourne Meteorite Gift Open Day | Sunday 29th March 2026 | Casey Fields

The wait is over. Registrations are now OPEN for the 2026 Cranbourne Meteorite Gift, and we invite you to be part of one of the most exciting events on the Little Athletics calendar.

Date: Sunday, 29th March 2026
Venue: Casey Fields Regional Athletics Track

The first four events will be marshalled at 1:15pm sharp, with the first event commencing at 1:30pm.

Event Format

  • Heats and Finals of 100m events for each age group
  • Champion of Champions 100m (Semi Finals and Final), featuring all age group winners
  • Mark Jouvelet 100m Invitational (Casey Cardinia Senior Athletes)
  • Heats and Finals of 200m events for each age group

Entry Details

  • Entry Fee: $15.00 (plus processing fee)
  • Entry includes participation in both 100m and 200m events
  • Entries Close: Monday, 2nd March 2026 at 11:00am
  • Strictly no late entries accepted

Conditions

This is a handicap event, based on registered club personal bests.
Athletes must be registered with Little Athletics Victoria and compete in their correct age group during the 2025/26 season.
All PBs will be verified with LAVic.

Awards

  • Medals awarded to the top three placegetters in each event
  • A winner’s sash presented to the Champion of Champions 100m winner

Facilities & Atmosphere

  • Canteen and BBQ with hot and cold food and drinks
  • Activities for kids
  • Music, sponsor displays, and a vibrant carnival-style atmosphere
