Your CLAC Coaches

CLAC provides a number of coaching opportunities for its athletes through an experienced and qualified coaching panel.  Where an athlete is interested in private coaching, members of our coaching panel might be available to provide private coaching (at a cost to the athlete).  Our coaches are all volunteers.

Members of the CLAC coaching panel are listed below.

Kelly Carvill

This is Kelly’s first year as ‘Head Coach’ at CLAC.  In the season 2019 – 2020, Kelly was an assistant coach, under Matt Warwick.

This will be Kelly’s sixth season at CLAC this upcoming year.  Kelly has a daughter that will be starting in under 11 for 2021 – 2022 season.

Kelly believes that coaching the athlete to help them develop their strengths with a solid relationship between coach and athlete will assist in achieving a great commitment resulting in the athlete’s performance.  Kelly will take the time to undertake specific session training in her desired discipline, being throws for any CLAC athlete with the main objective and belief that assists the individual to attain their objective.

In doing so, this will create success for the athlete, an interest, and enthusiasm for their desired event to achieve the maximum result.

Her philosophy as the CLAC 2021 – 2022 head coach has one basic goal, to ensure that all athletes have the opportunity to be taught how to incorporate proven techniques, to enable the athlete to compete to their full potential.

Kelly has a passion for little athletics, encouraging her own child to pursue her interest in the sport.  Little athletics should be a social, fun and a rewarding experience for all athletes and this is what Kelly would like to encourage at CLAC.
