Centre Uniform

Proudly wearing the Cranbourne white, blue & gold

All athletes representing Cranbourne Little Athletics are required to wear the approved Centre uniform when competing.

Wearing the correct uniform helps our athletes look and feel part of Team Cranbourne and ensures they meet competition requirements at Centre, Region and State level.

Full Uniform Requirements

Athletes must wear the complete approved Cranbourne Little Athletics uniform when competing.

The required registration patches must be securely attached to the front of the athlete’s shirt, singlet or crop top.

Athletes who do not meet the required uniform standards may not be permitted to compete or may face disqualification, particularly at Region and State events.

Registration Patches

All Centre uniforms must display the required:

  • COLES Registration patch

Please ensure the patch is securely attached and clearly visible before competition.

Shirts Underneath the Uniform

Athletes may wear a T-shirt underneath their Centre uniform for additional sun protection or comfort.

Undershirts must be:

  • Royal blue
  • Black
  • White

Where possible, we encourage athletes to choose colours that complement the Cranbourne uniform.

Compression Shorts

Compression shorts may be worn underneath the Centre uniform.

Permitted colours are:

  • Black
  • Beige / skin tone

Logos & Branding

Athletes may wear clothing that displays one visible manufacturer’s logo, provided the logo is less than 40cm² in size.

Athletes will not be permitted to compete if they are wearing an unapproved logo that exceeds the permitted size.

Logos must not be altered or hidden in an attempt to meet the uniform requirements. This includes:

  • Taping over or covering a logo
  • Folding or rolling clothing to conceal a logo
  • Wearing shorts or other clothing inside out
  • Wearing an item in a way other than how it was designed to be worn

All competition clothing must be worn correctly and comply with the current uniform regulations before an athlete enters the competition area.

Warm Clothing

Tracksuits and other warm clothing may be worn to the start area before an event.

For track events, outer clothing must be removed before the athlete competes.

For field events, athletes may generally continue wearing pants or other warm clothing where appropriate. Different requirements may apply at Region and State competitions.

Warm clothing worn underneath the Centre uniform must be blue, black or white.

Footwear & Spikes

Athletes may compete in regular running shoes or, where permitted, athletics spikes.

Spike rules depend on the athlete’s age group and event.

Spikes are not permitted.

Spikes may be worn for:

Athletes and parents should ensure footwear is suitable for the event and complies with all current competition regulations.

Cultural or Medical Considerations

We want every athlete to feel comfortable and supported while representing Cranbourne Little Athletics.

Where an athlete requires a variation to the standard uniform for cultural, religious or medical reasons, please speak with a member of the Committee.

Reasonable uniform variations can be considered and approved where required.

Not Sure?

If you’re unsure whether an item of clothing, footwear or uniform variation is permitted, please ask us before competition day.

Our Committee is always happy to help make sure your athlete is ready to compete.

Wear the blue & gold with pride.
